Is Your Heating Not Working Properly?

If your heating won’t come on when you need it to after your boiler installation, there could be a number of causes behind it.

First, make sure to check that your wireless thermostat isn’t low on charge and that you know how to use it.

if you have the EPH thermostat you can watch how to use this correctly here

Did you know that low batteries in digital thermostats are one of the most common causes of issues with home heating? even new thermostats sometimes come with flat batteries.

Thermostat batteries typically last 8-12 months, so if you've noticed problems with your heating around 8 months after your boiler installation, it may be time to replace them.

If your thermostat has new batteries and your heating system still isn’t working, make sure it is programmed correctly. Knowing how to control your heating with your thermostat is essential if you want your heating to come on when you need it and turn off when you don’t. It may also be worth asking any other household members if they have changed any settings on it as this is a more common cause of issues than you may think.

You could make significant savings with smart heating controls.

If your thermostat is programmed correctly and your heating still isn’t working, check your boiler for any error codes. These are small codes made up of numbers and letters that can help tell us what the issue is. If you see an error code, make sure to check your manufacturer’s user manual to identify what it means and follow the steps from there.

your manual can be found in your new boiler documents folder.
