A lot of my decisions to work with a company are based on their reviews, how they present themselves and how they handle their day to day business along with how good their staff are. I've been on the Blackpool Boiler Installations servicing plan for my boiler for a few years now - all issues I've had are resolved quickly and the process is absolutely painless. We recently had aircon installed by them and it's been working great and was nowhere near as expensive as I thought it would be.

A lot of my career has been working in IT with hundreds of Small/Medium businesses across the North West and I can tell when a business is quality. This company has managed to hit a really interesting niche that is not so obvious to other service based companies. They have embraced technology a lot better than competitors - small things like being text an estimated time of arrival, and who is coming along with how far away they are is the kind of extra mile that you only see in companies that care. As is following up to make sure services are booked, e-mail reminders for certain things and a clear indication of what happens next for anything you purchase or buy. They understand that good service and customer trust underpins buying decisions. Their staff are great, the service is great and the pricing is reasonable - a trifecta that most companies get wrong and can never do well all three at once. I only wished they expanded into more service areas so I didn't have to deal with other trade people.

If their owner reads this, my only advice to him would be to consider as they expand more and more into air conditioning whether their branding as Blackpool Boiler Installations is confusing. Aircon is going to explode in demand over the next few years and having a more general top level brand with divisions may make more sense.

From start to finish, the entire process was seamless. They carried out a flawless installation of our new air conditioning system, and the quality of their workmanship is absolutely brilliant. The unit is up and running and working perfectly, making a massive difference straight away.

I cannot recommend Blackpool Boiler Installations highly enough. From start to finish, the entire team was exceptional.

It started with a friendly chat with Kev in the office, who took the time to explore exactly what I needed and explained the whole process clearly. Adam then came out to do the quote; he was incredibly easy to talk to as we discussed stripping out the old system and installing a new boiler, modern pipework, and radiators. He really looked at the property's specifics to talk through our options.

Their digital quote system is brilliant - it lets you toggle different line items so you can see exactly where you want to spend or save. I opted for the Hive system, which works perfectly with the Viessmann boiler using OpenTherm. Kev was fantastic over email, clarifying the exact specifics of what was included, which gave me total peace of mind before signing the e-contract.

Jason carried out the installation and he was amazing. He was extremely tidy, conscientious, and kept me updated on his progress every step of the way. His knowledge of the heating system was top-notch, and he took the time to teach me how to use both the boiler and the apps (Hive and Viessmann Vicare). He even made a brilliant suggestion during the job regarding the boiler placement, which actually saved running the flue through the roof and avoided unnecessary tiling work. Dan was also on-site for a few days and was equally friendly, professional, and knowledgeable.

The work was signed off with me feeling completely satisfied. They weren’t the cheapest quote I received, but you truly get what you pay for. Outstanding workmanship and customer service.

Boiler Repair FAQs

How do I book a boiler repair?

The easiest way to book an appointment is via our online booking system. Simply let us know more about you and your boiler. You will then be able to book a convenient time and date into our diary.

Will I be charged a call-out fee for every repair?

There will be a fixed price charge of £94+VAT to customers for an expert engineer to be called out. This fee covers a visit for up to a 45 minutes from our qualified gas engineer, full diagnostics of the issue(s). It also covers repair of the issue(s) if they fall within the 30 minute appointment and no parts are required.

What if you can't repair my boiler?

Most repairs are completed during our first visit, however some may require spare parts and a return visit. You'll always be provided with a quote to install spare parts and if a second visit's required we’ll email you details of the work we're planning to complete and any costs. Completely transparent and easy, just the way it should be.

Is it better to repair or replace my boiler?

Sometimes it makes more financial sense to replace your boiler. If we deem your boiler beyond economic repair during the diagnosis, we'll provide you with a no obligation quote to get a replacement boiler with us.
